How much does roof cleaning cost?

Obviously the price will depend on how many square metres need to be carefully scraped and then treated with biocide. Detached, semi detached or terraced?  1, 2 or 3 floors? What is the pitch like? Good access all round, or not?

You may  have noticed that algae stains are absent straight below the flashings around chimneys, roof covering vents and dormer windows. This results from the lead, zinc, copper or galvanised sheet being poisonous to algae. Every time it rains, trace quantities of these metals are washed down the roof covering, inhibiting algae growth.
